As
a kid, I built model airplanes and ships and read the
World War II books such as Baa Baa Black Sheep and God
is My Copilot. My dream of becoming a military pilot
never materialized and I spent my years working and
raising a wonderful family. Now that most of my responsibilities
have eased, I have had the time to resurrect my passion
for WW II Warbirds and have expanded my interest to
include military vehicles as well as other periods of
conflict. Instead of building them, I now collect the
diecast models in all scales. Since I started collecting,
I realized how difficult it is for me, and others as
well, to find good sources for these models, so I decided
to help make them more available. My wife insists it
is to finance my collecting hobby. Whatever the reason,
I love having these models to admire and researching
the history of each.
